*Wedding of the year*

It's Vegas Baby! Those crazy folks down at Pay Per Post are looking to send one of their posties down to Las Vegas to get married in a PPP sponsered event. PayPerPost has always been known for coming up with a bunch of crazy ways to market, but this one is by far the craziest I've ever come across. I would love to know just how well this type of advertising works for the company. So look into this payperpost wedding on the official blog for PPP. I have the link to the article right here:

http://blog.payperpost.com/2006/10/payperpost-sponsored-wedding.html

There's the link. If you're looking to get married this would be a great way to get a cheap wedding for you.

Old-School Illegal Internet Activities

I was recently reminiscing with my friend about how funny some of the things we used to do on the Internet were. If we tried any of that stuff today, people would laugh at us for how simple and ridiculous some of the ‘hacking’ methods were. Ah, there's nothing like the old-school computing days. Takes me back a bit.

Digg of the day:Witt: 'What Are Fans?'

PuckUpdate posts today about the New York Islanders attendance woes. The story quotes Islanders player Brendan Witt who, along with the Islanders' Mike Sillinger, played in Nashville last season. While Nashville may not be the traditional hockey market that New York is, there's something to be said for Predators fans who show up in #'s.

*Cash Columns*

I'm here today to talk about Cash Columns. Cash columns is a unique way to advertise on the internet. The starting bid for a column is a dollar. If you buy a spot on the companies column that you are willing to pay for. After you pay for the ad the cost of the ad doubles. If someone is willing to pay more than you than you are refunded your initial payment. After that you can beat their offer. If your offer is than beaten you will get 50% of your money back. Now I am terrible at explaining things so I will just tell you about this page that explains a little bit better. This site can possibly get you 150% of the money you put in back. This sounds like a decent chance to get some exposure, the ad will stay on the site for as long as 5 years. They offer a 64X64 sized image that you can use to promote anything. The site contains 8 slots in a big column that you can pay to advertise on.

Getting back 150% is possible, but Cash Columns does not guarentee this. To be honest with you, this sounds like a pretty decent idea. I wouldn't mind advertising using this site. I could sell some space on here for that.

Ad Space.

For the November edition of Xhiliration I am offering up some great ad space. The ad will be bid over on eBay and the winner will have their message displayed on every page of the mag. My question to you is how much would you pay for this. I am going to start bidding at $2.50 which I feel is very fair. I will post the link here soon.

*Spy on me*

"Dear, I think the next door neighbors are up to something over there." "Oh hun, you're just a nosey old lady. Get over here and watch Wheel of Fortune with me."

"Wait, there's something over there. I just can't see what it is." "Use the binoculars than woman."

"We don't own a pair." "Looks like we could use Optics Planet.com."

If you're in need of some binoculars than look no further than Optics Planet. These guys are the number one online retailer for binoculars. This site carries a wide array of binoculars including hiking for those times you want to get a better look at that rack ...the one on the deer that is. Also there's opera glasses if you can't afford the good seats and military binoculars if you're planning on going GI Joe in your own personal home.

Optics Planet also is willing to provide free shipping on all orders that are over $29.99. Before you know it you'll be seeing things that you never would before.

"Honey, the neighbors have a keg over there." "Looks like we're going visit the neighbors dear."

Also don't forget that Optics Planet offers Nightvision as well in case you are curious about what really does go bump in the night.

Google Acquires Another One - JotSpot

OK, I can finally blurt it out: JotSpot is now part of Google, and I couldn't be more excited. Three years ago my friend Graham Spencer and I set out to start a new company. We'd both recently left Excite, which we co-founded, and we had spent a few years starting a nonprofit together.

From beatuy products to nutrition supplements N101 Nutrition is a great place to purchase from. The company offers a wide selection of products and puts you the customer first. This company is committed to providing the product to the customer in a quick manner. The customer service staff is willing to serve from the time the order is placed until the customer is fully happy with the product. I would personally reccomend this web site to anyone that is looking for a slew of great health products at affordable prices.

I'm broke.

I'm flat out broke guys. Being a writer is really hard when no one gives a crap about what you have to say. If you truely give a crap post a comment letting me know. Any comments would be greatly apprciated.

*Easy Accounting*

Today I'm going to talk about some personal accounting software at Piggy Bob. This accounting software is made to help you do your own accounting and keep you from paying someone else for doing this. The program runs pretty good and after downloading it I found that it was pretty easy to use. I had all my information into the program fairly easy and the program was sure to explain things in terms that would make things easy for even the most clueless people to understand. My grandma could do this it's so easy and she can't even turn on a computer. That's a bold statement, but I believe it's true. I think this would help anyone save money and I believe that you should give it a try.

Xpic working on November issue.

The Xpic magazing Xhiliration is working on it's November issue. The mag will feature something we are all thankful for as guys, cheerleaders. So wait for this issue and enjoy it because it's going to rock.

*Love to whine*

If you have checked out my recent posts I talked about a site called disclosurepolicy.org that is made for PayPerPost, a paid blogging site. The same site that attacked PPP for not having disclosure policies,TechCrunch, attacked them again for this site? Wait a minute... Did I just hear something completely retarded? I did, I did hear something retarded. If Mike Arrington cares so much about the "Blogosphere" than he should let the members of it do what they want on their own personal blog space. If the sites are aweful than no one will want to visit them anyway.

*Old Gift Store*

Old World Gifts and Collectibles is a New York based company that offers some great gift ideas online including steins, tapestries, miniture landmarks, and even more. Check out this site for some more old things that people might consider to be great for history buffs. There is nothing like it on the web if you're looking for gifts that old people just might enjoy. Heck, it's way better than the tie you bought them last year.

Power Wheels Racing.

Since it is Halloween the crew of PWR is going to be dressing up. There should be a video coming with us racing in costumes and I can't wait to do it. It should be a pretty awesome vid so keep on the look out for it.

*Disclose it*

One of the common issues surrounding the blog ad site PayPerPost is that it doesn't require disclosure of ads. I disclose my ads in my own personal way. See the stars in the title? I am getting paid for those posts. That way you know right away that this post doesn't reflect my own personal opinion and that it only is something I wrote to keep the Zone Network alive. In fact, without the ads the Network wouldn't be nearly as great. So if you're a blogger I suggest you disclose in some way shape or form. In fact, I'm writing this for a group that's created a Disclosure Policy Generator that could be useful. Generate yours today.

Xhiliration needs Amatures.

Xhiliration is looking for some Amature bikini models to help with their next issue. So if you're looking for some promotion than give Jack Xian a look up. Just check out the sites MySpace at www.myspace.com/xhiliration

*Repair Time*

You know one day I was sitting down at my house getting ready to eat dinner. When I went to take the first bite something hit me... literally. I had a huge hole in the roof and water was leaking down from the ceiling. It was time I went looking for some help in fixing it. Did I call some repair man? Heck no, those guys overcharge you for things that you can do yourself. So instead of wasting time and money by going through a repair man I decided I would check out the internet for some home repairs advice.

What I found on the internet was a site called Handy Household Hints. This site offers up a slew of household hints for fixing most things around the house. The site also features useful tips for car owners as well as some DIY articles that can help any car owner, home owner, or renter alike.

Even if you aren't into fixing things yourself this site is also offering up a $50,000 Home Makeover. The money from this great contest could really prove useful when you're looking to do some extra large amounts of remodeling. So be sure to check out this quality site for some more great tips.

*Saddle Up*

Saddle up the horses because it's time for the Houston Rodeo & Livestock Show. rodeoHouston is one of the biggest rodeo and livestock concerts in the entire nation. Some of the concerts that are being held are really great. Not only that, but watching rodeos are always fun considering it's not something I'm normally in to. It's always fun to check out the rodeos because I love seeing people get beat up by a bull. After the events there are some great concerts being held. If you would like to buy some Houston Rodeo concert tickets or see a list of shows click here. You can basically count on having a great time when you check out the Houston Rodeo concerts.

Keep your family healthy.

You know, it's almost my duty to keep my viewers healthy. That way, I don't have to go out and get new ones because the current viewers will be in good health. This dedication to my fans health leads me to bring you this link to some Free Product Samples.

Fans love my samples because they bring great health and some free stuff right to their door with no shipping costs at all. Not only am I offering you guys some great Free Product Samples, but I am so nice that I am going to offer you up some great health related articles. Now no one can accuse me of not being a caring person. Heck I'm so caring that I even went in and donated a whole 12.50 to the American Red Cross. That will make up for the fact that I can't donate blood because of the medication stuff I'm on.

Forget about my generosity though because you don't get this without doing something. You need to become a member on the site before you can open up the free product samples. What kind of products? Well as shown in the picture it includes Bounce, Neosporin, Tylenol, Opti Free, and more. So you never know what type of Free Product Samples you could get out of this site. David Letterman vs. Bill O'Reilly, Round Two

David Letterman didn't try to hide the fact last night that he just plain doesn't like Bill O'Reilly. When O'Reilly tried to suggest that Dave believes "Bush is an evil liar" and that "America is a bad country" Letterman came back with the line of the month "You're trying to put words in my mouth just the way you put artificial facts in your head."

Even though I'm registered as republican, I still think O'Reilly is an assbag.

Writing is important.

This blog is brought to you by:

Write your way to profit Article Writing And Submission

Write your way to profit is a 60 day online course that teaches entrepreneurs the basic skills needed to properly promote a business using articles to do so. Article writing is important in a business because creating a decent article is perhaps the greatest way to create interest in your product. This course is supposed to leave you with the skills that can help you easily promote and submit articles wisely. This type of information is pretty important in promotion of a product. Trust me, if you don't know how to get people pumped about your product you will be left behind big time.

Headaches

Wow, the creative juice today was basically stopped dead after I got a huge migrane. It's hard to get shit done when your brain is throbbing like crazy. The worst part is that it's not bad enough for me to take a pill for it. Although that Immitrex is looking really good right now.

Robots clean after me.

I never thought there would be a way to make vacuuming fun. Afterall, I hate anything that has to do with cleaning things. However the new Robot ROOMBA vacuum makes for much easier housework for the lazy person in you. And don't try to tell me you wouldn't mind having a robot do all your dirty work. This ROOMBA vacuum isn't the only of its kind though, there's also a SCOOBA floor cleaner as well for those who hate scrubbing. These future cleaning products will make life easier for anyone. Not only that, but it's loads of fun to watch the dog chase around. So check out these products and read about them to see if you would enjoy using them. It's worth a shot.

Hey folks how is it going? Today I was supposed to talk about buying a property in Spain, but that sounds like a pretty boring topic to me. So instead of talking about that I think I would rather talk about something a little more important.

There are some elections coming up in the near future that involve the Congress seats. It's important that you go out and vote for nothing other than Republicans. Seriously, if the country votes in Dems I am going to be pissed. I would hate to see this great country turn into nothing but a tree hugging world. That's not cool. Just remember, the media is very biased to the Democrats so don't believe every single thing that you see.

There, that was much better than me talking about buying a property in Spain.Thank you.

Movie based on scream park.

This blog is brought to you by:

It's halloween time, time to eat lots of candy, and most of all time to have the crap scared straight out of you. One of the nations top 13 scream parks, Fright World, is coming out with their scary movie called... Fright World. Gee, where did they get the name from? Anyways, the world premire is going to be on Halloween, October 31 for those who don't know. The premire will be held at the Fright World amusment park and following the premire will be live music and a special Q&A session with all of the people involved. Here's some people that are already talking about going to the premire.

"The amusment park always scared the poo out of me. I remember when I was a kid I would go there and carry along 3 extra pairs of pants with me. If the FrightWorld The Movie World Premiere is even half as scary I will probably need at least 2 pairs of underoos."
-Dan, Michigan.

"I remember I got so scared during my trip to Fright World that I had to go to therapy for 5 weeks. Boy it was sure a good time. I am for sure going to go to the FrightWorld The Movie World Premiere on October the 31st because I want to put my therapy to the test this time around."
-Charolette, North Dakota

"I went to Fright World every single year since it opened way back when. I'm sure the movie is going to be really awesome as well. I can't wait to take the kids and watch them get frightened straight out of their seats. Mike, Georgi...oh sorry I wasn't supposed to read that."
-Mike, Georgia

As you can see people are buzzing about this movie premire and with the high quality of the theme park, top 13 quality, the movie should hopefully be just as good. I think I'll be checking it out soon to give you guys the full review. So you can come back pretty soon after the release to find out if this thing should get 5 stars or none at all.

Note: The people in this article are fictional characters. Either way, just go watch the movie and tell me what you think. The premire is on Oct. 31 at FrightWorld amusement park.

I got paid.

This blog is proudly brought to you by:

PayPerPost

Recently I've started using a blog ad company named PayPerPost to make some extra money. I heard about PayPerPost through an ad on Google. I figured it was just another cheap scam, but I was quickly proven wrong. I never realized just how much money this would make me. If all goes well and I get my extra college loan I am going to quit my shitty job at McDonalds and start writing all the time. The money I made in two weeks of posting on PayPerPost was actually about the same as my check from two weeks at McDonalds. The only difference is that it only takes 1-2 hours a day to ad my posts on the internet while I worked 76 hours at McDonalds to get that money. It's a big difference and I hope that if I am able to quit I will be able to really improve upon my site greatly. So I would like to put a huge thanks out to PayPerPost.

Maybe I should enter this contest.

Considering I'm nothing other than a basic web designer I don't have an office unless you consider my bedroom one. In fact, the home office I have is completly suck ass. The internet is slower than an old lady crossing the street, it's too tiny and unorganized for me to work well, and it smells like that cinnomon crap my mom puts into the air freshener, I really need to tell her about that. Anyway, I figured I would give my own top 10 reasons my office is bad.

10. It smells like a real stron cinnomon.
9. There's dirty socks all over the floor.
8. PS2 distracts me a lot
7. Internet runs slower than my grandma
6. Dad plays poker too much and my computer won't even connect.
5. Papers everywhere.
4. Printer doesn't work right
3. Always 90 degrees I swear.
2. There's no microwave, come on.
1. Half the lights are burnt out I can't see anything.

Office2share.com is offering The Home Office From Hell contest to anyone willing to give them 10 good reasons why their home office is straight from hell. Either way, this is a decent way to get a free office for the Zone Network.

For budding internet entrepreneurs, the moral of Google's $1.65 billion purchase of video start-up YouTube is simple: Build a real, functioning company, then sell it to a bigger one. No downtime?

I was looking through my list of ad offers and low and behold I found this interesting site called Hosting Zoom. This site offers a failover hosting program that is kind of a way to eliminate downtime all together. You see when a server goes down, the site goes with it. However with this system the site is hosted by another available server until the original one has been fixed again. So if you're interested and try out Hosting Zoom please let me know how good it is. Plans start at 7.95 a month.

Much apologies

I recently made a post called Alarm System and the advertiser rejected it for this reason:

"Thank you for your post. Aside from the following part, it's a great entry: Did a couple of "African Americans" move next door? Do you not feel safe with gay priders on the loose? We do realize it's a joke, however if the advertiser that posted the opportunity (or a reader) is African American or Homosexual, I'm sure he/she wouldn't think it was so funny. Occasionally the advertisers to review the posts themselves. Please remove those sentences from your post, resubmit, and we will be happy to accept your post. Thanks! :) DB"

So I apologize to all of my african american and gay fans, if I even have any, and I have changed it to better suit the site.

Desperate people love online dating.

This world contains so many lonely, pathetic, people that would date anything that if I were to take them all and put them in the ocean it would cause all the water to overflow onto the land. Thankfully for these people online dating has been invented. I was asked to give Loopy Love a test from the standpoint of a normal human being. When I looked at Loopy Love I saw a unique dating site that would offer fun for anyone. Loopy Love offers a dating site that will hook you up with some women who are looking for one thing, a desperate man. In most cases that's what the guy wants so I found their way of connecting people to be pretty good. The fact is that so many desperate women check out these sites that even Mike the 43 year old that lives with his mom playing World of Warcraft can even get in on the fun. Heck, I feel the idea of online dating using Loopy Love would be something you would be interested in so I'll be willing to give you an awesome code you can enter on the site. All you have to do is register and then contact the company through their feedback using the quote
"PPP 1006". After giving them this code request a free 3 day subscription to get 3 days of unblocked fun on Loopy Love. That way you'll be sure to get some, even you Mike, I know you're out there reading this. So go onto Loopy Love and try out their awesome online dating. You'll be glad you did.

Overall I consider Loopy Love to be a legit dating site that you may just want to check out. I'll give the web site a 3 out of 5.

The List

There were a couple updates to talk about:

Random Brainwave is Beginning to think it's time for change and admits {he} was wrong!

That's all I got today.

Secure your business.

This blog is brought to you by:

I have to admit, viruses are real pains in the asses around here. My computer gets nailed and the only thing those guys can really find is a bunch of porno. So if you're running a business they will surely be after you. Using Managed Services Software you can use Anti-Virus and Firewall programs for only $10 a pc. It's much less than what the actual cost is. So check these guys out and secure your business.

Knockoffs are all but dead.

You know I've noticed a disturbing trend while I flip, not literally, through the pages of knockoffs and see that only a few have been updated recently. It sucks, most of the good ones shut down and it seems there's never any new content. Really pisses me off, but it's probably all cause of Maddox not updating his shit. Oh well at least there's always the Epic Zone.

These get the babes.

This blog is brought to you by:

Beach cruisers

There is nothing that can get the babes quite like Beach cruisers. These older style bikes make people feel sexy when they're riding them and they make women freak. If you're a guy and you ride by on one of these sexy bikes they will be chomping at the bit to get a ride with you. So it's a very good idea to go out and buy some Beach cruisers bikes if you're having a hard time getting women.

Holy crap I get paid soon.

I can't wait to get paid because that means I can go out and buy tons of porno. That's freaking great man. Not only that, but I really am going short on cash. My bank account keeps going lower and lower every month. Anyone have any good suggestions for a place to get a loan?

Alarm System

This blog is brought to you by:

Laser Shield

Laser Shield is a portable Security System that keeps people out of your crap. Do you live in the ghetto? Did a couple of "Crazy looking mo-fos" move next door? Do you not feel safe with Oprah fans on the loose? Well if so check out the Laser Shield Security System. This system is an easy to use portable system that can be hooked up to multiple units. Laser Shield uses a high tech laser detection system that is perfect for protecting the important things in life... like your computer. Wouldn't want to not be able to view the Epic Zone. So if you feel the need to protect yourself. Buy a gun and then finish off your Security System with Laser Shield. Available at Comp USA, Home Depot, Costco,
Kmart, Montgomery Ward, Sears and more.

Note: I'm not against "African Americans", it's just a joke. This product is real though so check it out.

Digg of the Day: Roller Coaster + Bowling == Fun

Just a little fun with Rollercoaster Tycoon 3. This video was freaking hilarious. It kind of makes me want to go out and buy Rollercoaster Tycoon 3. I really did love that game before it.

The Ultimate Chopper can help you out with almost any of your cooking needs, unless you don't need to chop anything. This product will slice and dice just about anything you need to cut, celery, carrots, potatoes, cats, whatever you need the Ultimate Chopper can probably slice it. Just listen to these awesome testomonials...

"I had to prepare dinner for my girlfriend since she's too fat and lazy to do it herself. I had almost no time since I had to spank the monkey beforehand, but thanks to the Ultimate Chopper I was able to make the meal quick and I ended up getting laid all thanks to the Ultimate Chopper." - Dan

"I had a van full of screaming kids from soccer. What to do with them was a real problem. Ice cream? No they aren't worth that much. So I got a few potatoes and with the help of Ultimate Chopper I was able to make fries to shut those little brats up." - Marge

"In between being fat and making people think I'm a miracle worker there's little time to prepare meals. So I bought my slaves one of those Ultimate Choppers so now they can feed me so much faster and that's important when I have people to decieve." - Oprah

See, people love this product. The Ultimate Chopper can be yours in this special internet offer from TV Products for Less. So check this out for yourself, you'll be glad you did.

It's the only Internet destination where users can get the objective, authoritative, and comprehensive shopping-comparison info they need to comparison-shop for insurance, Health Savings Accounts (HSAs), medical procedures, doctors and dentists.

This blog is brought to you by:

Pay Per Post.

Pay Per Post offers blog ads to anyone in need of buzz for a product or service. PPP is currently doing a contest to promote their "payperpostbluemonster" project. Is free exposure gone?

There are so many different web sites around the world and most of them don't get that great of exposure for one or many reasons. Back in the early 90s when the internet was growing getting exposure wasn't too hard considering there weren't too many sites competing. Now it seems almost impossible to get great exposure without ending up shelling out a few bills to an ad company. I'm going to go into some detail on the best ways there are to advertise both free and paid.

PPC

Pay Per Click is perhaps the most common type of paid advertising there is on the internet. Most search engines have their own PPC services to give you high rankings on sites. This PPC in Austin company offers search engine SEO like many other companies out there. This advertising works well because you only pay for those people who click on your links. This usually means that they are looking for your service to begin with. The biggest problem with PPC is that the main keywords have been taken and are expensive for click. You can aim for a keyword that is related to save money, but it won't work quite as well. I still think PPC is the best paid method there is to promote.

Pay Per Post

Pay Per Post is one of the best ways there is to gain link power for your site. It works this way, you pay for people to post your link on their blog, these links are work so much in SEO. The cool thing is you can offer the price you want and all of the details of the posts. The only problem with this site is the ethical questions many critics have raised about it's build. However if you find this method ethical it will most likely work well for you.

Digg.com

Digg is basically a site where you go and talk about things you find interesting, for instance your web page. If you provide great content and an interesting story posting on Digg.com for free will offer you a great tool to reach people. I've used digg to mention my Epic Zone articles and it's worked with great success. Since I started doing this I've reached some of the highest visitor numbers in the history of my web site. This is free and I highly suggest you look into it.

Google Sitemaps

Google Sitemaps is not really an advertising tool, but submitting a sitemap to Google will help the engine crawl your site much better and this leads to your site having a better chance on Google's engine. So I highly suggest you do this, it only takes a few minutes and it can make a nice difference.

After judging 3 of the better ways to promote your web site I have to say, the only way you can hammer down great exposure without paying is to have great content. It all really comes down to creating something truly unique and interesting. If you're writing mimicks someone else, develope your own style to set yourself apart. The true way to gain exposure is by being different. Otherwise you can try these tools above.

osCommerce Cafe.

I was recently asked to review a OsCommerce templates web site named OsCommerce Café. OcCommerce, in case you don’t know, is a free online store builder. This free tool available at oscommerce.com allows you to build your own personal web store and accept a variety of payment options very easily. I’ve personally used OsCommerce when I attempted to build up my own store, but I found I didn’t have a whole lot of things to sell.

However since I wasn’t asked to review OsCommerce I will talk about the page I WAS asked to review. I quickly checked out The osCommerce cafe to see exactly what they offered to the customers. Their templates appear to be quite professional and the home page is littered with some very nice looking store fronts. With my web design experience I can tell these templates were made by very good professionals who had a good handle on what they were doing. The site offers a variety of color schemes, although a basic one is usually the best choice, for a variety of different categories that are listed on the left hand side of the page.

Now comes one of the most important aspects of the site, the price. Memberships vary from 3, 6, and 12 month terms. These memberships allow for an unlimited number of downloads during that time period. Considering my previous knowledge in design I can tell you that for a well designed template you’re most likely going to pay no less that 50 if you’re really lucky and for the most part you’ll be paying well over 100. This site charges $89 for a 3 month membership, $158 for 6 months, and $299 for 12. To me this seems more than reasonable considering you can get all the templates you want in those time periods.

Now comes the simple question here, would I recommend this service to you? Well I know one thing for sure, any normal user would have a hard time creating their own design and going to a third party is usually the right answer. This site appears to have a great core of designs for download and at a reasonable price. Overall I think I would have to give OsCommerceCafe a 4 out of 5 on my scale.

This was a paid review. Although it was paid, I researched into the topic before writing a review out. This review remains to be 100% honest and is based solely on my opinion. I was only paid to review the site honestly, I was not paid to give the site a pre-determined review.

Leaves, my god!

I live in Pennsylvania which means that leaves are going to be turning and falling over the next couple weeks. The leaves make the mountain side look pretty darn cool. The only problem I have with this is all of the people that drive about 30MPH down the road looking at these leaves. What the hell? They're leaves, just because the one tree is red and the other is orange don't mean you need to slam on the breaks and stare at it. I don't come into the city and stare at the old bums because I'm not used to seeing them do I? Yeah I didn't think so.

Oh crap.

I've been sitting around doing this blogging stuff for a long time. The company I'm using to find my sponsers, payperpost is going around finding people that are using their service and randomly video taping them. What the hell am I going to do if they come to see me at a bad time? Am I supposed to just drop my girlfriend and put my pants back on? What about whenever I'm not at home? If I'm off being kick ass somewhere they may never be able to find me. God forbid they find me on the golf course. I don't golf well in front of people, that would really gripe my ass. So I guess any other time is fine with me. As long as I know it's coming. I don't want to look like a complete ass because I didn't know these guys were looking for me.

Digg of the Day:How to easily tell if you are being lied to

"The following techniques to telling if someone is lying are often used by police, and security experts. This knowledge is also useful for managers, employers, and for anyone to use in everyday situations where telling the truth from a lie can help prevent you from being a victim of fraud/scams and other deceptions."

James Brausch isn't stupid.

James Brausch runs a Internet business blog in which he offers products for many various web services including web traffic builders. Well it turns out James has come across one of the biggest promotion tools there is. You see, in the world wide web a link from an independent web site is like the prize. A link is worth hundreds if not thousands depending on where it's from. The company James is using for this ad, PayPerPost.com, is letting you buy links on blogs for any price you fancy. No one cares about the promotion, no one cares about my fanbase seeing this, and no one cares what I say about their product. You see James has discovered the important fact that my link will make his site look even better on the search engines. You can check out his Internet business blog for more ways to get traffic.

Motorcycles are kick ass in my book. I don't care much for those stupid crotch rockets, but the others are generally pretty cool, espically Choppers. If you enjoy motorcycles as well you may want to check out Motoyard.com which features New & used motorcycles, motorcycle parts and motorcycle apparel. It's kind of like an eBay focused on nothing except Motorcycles. This kind of site usually leads to lower prices and odds are finding what you're after will be easier than eBay or any other auction not devoted to Cycles. This auction site is brand new on the internet and if you're looking to sell a motorcycle or part you can be on of the first to use this service. It is always a good idea to get in there quick to establish yourself as a seller or buyer on an auction site.

Tumi Laptop Case.

This blog is brought to you by:

Tumi at Luggage Online

Tumi luggage has introduced a brand new laptop case with wheels and a telescopic handle. It seems to me that it's nothing more than a back pack that is being toted as the newest in cases, but you can find out for yourself by looking at Tumi at Luggage Online. This site will be able to give you all of the low down on this product. Although I know one thing for sure. I would never pay $500 for a stupid backpack, but that's just me. You can still check this out and see if you like it. It does come with a nice warranty and multiple color choices.

Tech Tip #2: Never Sign up for online surveys.

Online surveys are perhaps the biggest crock there ever was on the internet. These guys will send you an e-mail saying "Fill this quick survey and get $100." Here's what they don't tell you, not everyone gets that $100. Usually that's just a grand prize that's offered to one lucky person who was willing to fill out 50,000 of these surveys until they were finally lucky enough to win. Signing up for this stuff just leads to two things: More junk mail and more spam e-mail. Either way it's all junk.

Website in 48 Hours?

This blog is brought to you by:

Whenever I looking at my slate of possible advertisers I like to make sure they have a legit product or service. When I saw the web site websitesin48hours.com I was kind of curious to see just how this works. Considering I'm a web site designer myself, I wanted to be sure this was a decent site before I went on telling you about it. The fact that I'm writing about it right now means that they offer a decent selection of features at prices that aren't too bad at all. They are pretty high quality designs based on their list of examples on the site. Also the prices were as low as $99 and that includes all of the hosting and such that you need. However keep in mind that I only checked out their site. I highly suggest you look into this site and maybe try to contact some customers of theirs before going into this company. Paying that much money for a website is a huge investment and although I personally feel their designs and plans are nice, the customers can give you a little more insight on how they operate. However if you're in the need for a site quick I would really give websitesin48hours.com a look.

Holiday.

This blog is brought to you by:

You know it's 45 degrees up here in PA and there's snow coming pretty soon. Now would be a great time for Florida Holidays. I wouldn't mind a trip down south to Florida, the only thing that pisses me off about it is all of the old people that live down there. Other than that it would be freaking awesome. Think about all of the golf courses, sandy beaches, and hot women waiting down on Floridas coast. Not to mention Disney World, if I went there I could talk to Mickey about why he wanted to go out with his relative Minnie Mouse. Anyhow that's a totally different story all together. Now that I've re-read this post I really am in the mood for going to Florida. My girlfriend used to live there and she said it's always really nice out. Looking out my window I can see that I'm certainly not in Florida, but I could sure go for a few Florida Holidays right about now.

News Flash: The blog won't be updated in a while. I am going to Florida... and then maybe Vegas.

PPC Advertising?

This blog is brought to you by:

I've been a webmaster for about 4 years now. Finding ways to promote my sites to people has been difficult at times. There are many different methods that come and go, but the one method that will probably never leave is paid search. PPC advertising is one of the most reliable methods to get visitors because of the simple facts: 1. They performed the search for it. 2. You'll be the first site they see. 3. That's what they're looking for in the first place. Unlike Google ads and such that are posted on the side of a webiste, PPC are in the search results which gives you the best chance of getting clicked on. The best part is, you only pay when you are clicked on. PPC is a win win in so many ways.

Opinion on Epson printers.

This blog brought to you by:

I was asked by Epson to give my opinion on their line of Epson inkjet printers. Seeing as I have had a printer from Epson I figured I may as well give my honest opinion on them. Our Epson printer a few years back was a really good printer and it actually took the place of a much more expensive Cannon printer that was a pain to operate most of the time. The Epson always came on and printed just like it was supposed to. The only gripe I have with Epson printers is the cost to replace the ink for them. We found it was much cheaper just to buy an HP and use it's ink as they were much cheaper at the time. However if you can find cheap ink for printers I would say go for it because they never gave me any trouble in the past.

Rules of Poker.

This blog is sponsered by:

You know what I really hate? I hate it when I'll be playing cards with some friends and they decide to argue with me over poker rules. They're usually just mad because I'm right and I deserve those chips, even though they aren't worth any money, that sit in the middle of the table. Now thanks to this handy dandy guide of poker rules you can shut them up once and for all. Knowing the proper rules will help make the game more fun and it can also keep someone from getting shot, just kidding. Poker is supposed to be a fun and friendly game and with these rules you can also make sure it's a fair game as well.

Lessons Learned in Cartoons

The new article Lessons Learned in Cartoons is now up on the Epic Zone.

MySpace: Perfect Way to Promote.

This blog is brought to you by:

About a year ago a friend told me to sign up for MySpace, the giant networking site became hugely popular because of it's ease of use and because of the millions using it. So, since there are so many people I thought maybe it would be a great idea to promote my site The Epic Zone on MySpace for some added promotion of my articles. I recently found out about a product called Badder Adder that is a MySpace friend adder. The way Badder Adder works is that it automatically sends out friend requests and adds people requesting friendship. This product can help manage bullitens, comments, and can really help someone promote their site, band, or product through MySpace easily and without much work at all. Badder Adder is currently at $47, but the owner says that price may not stay the same for very long. The product runs on Windows and if you aren't happy with it after within 30 days you can recieve your money back with no problem. I have been promoting my site manually for a while now and I will be honest with you, when I heard about this product it really caught my attention, I wanted to know more right away. So if this caught your attention too than just click here to find out more about Badder Adder.

Free Dial-Up in UK.

This blog is brought to you by:

Are you planning on travelling to the UK? If so Nippy Internet offer free dialup for your time there. This is internet service for free and nothing can beat that. The only thing you pay for is the low rate phone call so it's not for heavy users, but the casual internet user will find this to be ok. I'm sure most people think of dial up as slow and clunky internet service, but I can tell you from my own personal experience that it's not bad. In all honesty I have dial up at home and if your main need is for simply surfing the internet than this works just fine and I think that's a decent offer. There are no obligations for the user. This company has no subscription fees, set-up fees, or any types of hidden charges. So I know what you're probably thinking. What kind of company gives out free internet? Well Nippy Internet charges you for the phone call, afterall a company can't make it by giving away totally free stuff. However if you only plan to use this service for a short time or not much than it is something you may want to look in to.

I'm not evil.

This site is sponsered by:

The blog advertising site PayPerPost has been very great for this blog over time. However many people don't seem to agree. This article says that the site is evil and creates spam on the internet. So I was asked to give my opinion on this article and when people ask me I usually give them what they want so here you go. This article is pure 100% rubbish. Calling this type of advertising spam is like calling any form spam. If getting paid to hype a new product is evil, than just about every single celebrity in a TV ad is guilty as charged. So I want to make a few extra pennies talking about Todds "great" new web site. That makes me evil? Yeah, sure thing there pal. I don't see how you can consider the ads (the ones that cover the ENTIRE right side of his site) posted on his site to be anything other than spam. First off he breaks his own rule and doesn't state it's an ad. It is so evil for PPP to do it and yet he can? What an ass. Not only that, but the products have nothing at all to do with the site. I'm sure after reading about how PPP is evil I would want to click on the link and buy a dandy bag of The Republic of Tea Persimmon White Tea. The only thing he "nailed" in his post was being a dumbass. That's all I have to say about that.

Finally a decent hand dryer.

This blog is sponsered by:

James Dyson has introduced many products into the world, his type of vacuum cleaners help keep floors cleaner than most others. This same technology is applied into a brand new hand dryer that is said to dry hands within 10 seconds and use 83% less energy than the other imitations. These dryers work using Dyson's motor technology and the anti-bacterial filters developed for their vacuum cleaners to clean both the air that blows onto your hands and the water that comes off them. The Dyson Airblade hand drier is technology can make the older systems obsolete. I know I personally hate the hand dryers at work. If they would install something that would dry my hands better I would love to use them.

Tech Tip #1: Stay Secure.

The first ever Tech Tip in the sites history involves security over the web. Being stuck with a suspended eBay account I can tell you that even some of us who are very careful can still get hit. Here are 3 things that you can do to keep yourself safe from intruders:

1. Keep a long and random password: Use numbers, letters, and symbols. Also keep it at the very least 8 or more characters. Do not use dictionary words as they can be hacked by programs.

2. Never answer an e-mail with personal info: No legit company asks for personal information that is sensitive over an e-mail. If you get an e-mail asking for info, close your browser and type in the sites main address in a new browser window to ensure that you're in the companies main site.

3. Get an Anti-Virus and Spyware Blocker: AVG offers a free anti-virus and Lavasoft offers Ad-Aware free to keep your system clean. Keep these programs updated and you will be much safer.

Know how well your host works.

Many times people buy into a hosting service and they just go by the numbers given on the web site. They judge based on the amount of space and bandwidth offered. However this does not guarentee good hosting. www.realmetrics.com offers a way to test various hosts so you can see how they stack up to the competition. It's important to understand this information before buying into a host. You would hate to pay for a years subscription only to find that the service you picked is terrible. Game of the moment.

The current game of the moment is the Boneless Girl Game.

I would buy an Audi.

Are you in the market for a new luxury car? Let me tell you about a company that raises the bar in terms of quality. Recently I bought a used Volkswagen Passat and I love it about as much as someone could love a car. Its an awesome car and I would buy another one in a heartbeat. However if you're in the market for some new luxury cars I would personally reccomend Audi, which is the same company as VW basically. In fact, my VW contains many Audi parts, including the engine, which have tons of power and luxury. I used to be an American car supporter, but after I got my VW I understand why people love them.

Strange way to market.

I'm sure most of you guys know about a show in the morning called the Today Show. Now I'm sure most people never gave it a thought, but Pay Per Post came up with some Guerilla Marketing and stormed the Today show. Here's the video of all of the action involved. It wouldn't be such a bad idea storming that show. I can see a theepiczone.com sign being displayed on TV right now. Yeah, that's the way it should be.
