PS3: Is History Repeating Itself?

Is Sony poised to repeat its success with the PS2? I sure hope so, I'm a big Sony fan. I think I'll be buying the PS3 very soon even though it costs a lot. How about you? Is the PS3 too much or will you be getting it?
